Dr. Violetta Thierbach attended the Carol-Davila Institute of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania from 1984 to 1989. She was in private practice in Karlsruhe, Germany from 1989 to 1993. She then went on to study at the New York University College of Dentistry from 1995 to 1998. She performed her residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, spending two years at the hospital and acting as chief dental resident her second year. During her time at NYU, she was placed on the College of Dentistry's dean's list and won the Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award in 1998. She won the Biotene Award for Excellence in Hospital Dentistry in both 1999 and 2000. She's been in private practice since 2000, and she's the owner of Bridge Family Dental. Dr. Thierbach has over 25 years of experience in dentistry, and she's teaching attending at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, New York. She speaks English, German, and Romanian.
Dr. Thierbach is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Association of Hospital dentist. Her work has been published in the Journal of the Academy of General Dentsitry, the New York State Dental Journal, and the Queens County Dental Society Bulletin.
